White Rose Studies of Ableism has found a number of related research projects and networks, outside of the Universities of Leeds, Sheffield and York, that are thinking through ableism as an under-girding aspect of contemporary life. Perhaps inevitably we have found ourselves drawn to disability studies communities. But we have also made use of some interesting other non-disability related collectives.
